A briefing video was given prior to the video interview (recording). The situation described was different from the actual interview -- was told that you would have time to think & prepare for answer with duration from 1-10 min (if i remember correctly), but turned out all of the questions have to be answered in 1-min time.
Assement which had a Case study which has information about different candidates and we have to decide who is the best one to hire according to the job requirements. It was group task before the interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Atherstone, England) in Mar 2024
Interview
It was not that personal. 1st stage application form, 2nd stage video recording of yourself answering pre listed questions (still no human on the end of it) 3rd stage was a group interview (Virtual) with 4 other people that lasted about an hr and a half. They give you a scenario and 6 candidates and a time limit and as a group had to work out who was the best candidate for the role and give reasons. the 2nd half of this stage was to give a presentation. I put about 6-7 hours worth or prep in total into this interview process and got a standard rejection email a few days later with no feedback at all, so very impersonal
