I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AXA in May 2018
Interview
It was pretty clear throughout the interview process that communication is not this company's strong suit. For every phone screen I had, the interviewer would call me but there was one in particular that stood out: I was supposed to call in to a conference call line but was not told that I should do so. I waited for 10 minutes to be called only to be called by one of the HR coordinators asking if I was still available to talk, as I had not dialed in. I dialed in as the other 2 people dropped off the line. They got back on, but we only had about 10 minutes to speak. They had zero personality - both of their voices were incredibly dull. When I asked about their positions and what they like about what they do, they could barely give me any valuable insight and were quick to get off the phone.
I spoke with another person, the final phone screen. The conversation went well, and one of my questions apparently offended this person (his words) because he has been working for years to get the right data together to make email marketing successful. Yet each other people I spoke with said the struggle was getting the data organized and actionable. Only one person I had a phone screen with was able to communicate well.
I never got a response to my two follow up emails. At the very least, give me (or anyone else in my position) the decency of a canned response: We decided to go in a different direction. Don't leave people hanging - it only furthers the clarity that this company does not know how to effectively communicate inside or outside.
