I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Activision Blizzard in Nov 2021
Interview
I initially submitted an application for a software engineer position without knowing the news that broke out over Activision Blizzard's CEO and the sexual harassment allegations at the company. After a recruiter contacted me, I politely declined and cited this as the reason I no longer wanted to interview. What I thought should have been the end of our correspondence instead resulted in a lengthy and very unprofessional response. Without going into the personal and weird details the recruiter shared in the email to justify their reasons for staying at Activision Blizzard, they also justified the sexual harassment by claiming this is something that just happens at every company in the world. I was appalled and taken aback by this attitude. If this is how Activision Blizzard now tries to recruit, then I warn anyone, especially women, to not apply here.
