1st call w/ head of sales who is very junior, IMO. I was asked a series of questions that weren't that challenging. I then booked an onsite for the following week where I was to prepare a presentation with a deck he provided me. Naturally, I started prepping that night. He then set up a call with one of his AE's for the next day, the AE asked me a series of the SAME EXACT questions except he was clearly distracted and said he was traveling from point a to point b. I could tell the call wasn't going too well and that I wasn't vibing with this guy, the call ended. Later that day, my onsite was removed from my calendar without any notice, phone call or email. I had to reach out to find out more and was told I wouldn't be moved on to the next stage and received negative feedback which was fine. What isn't fine and what I find very unprofessional is the fact that interviewer #2 did not give me his full attention during the call and that they scheduled an onsite before call #2 had even been completed. Wrong sequence, rookies! What these tech bruhs don't realize is that we too are interviewing the company to learn if it's a good fit for us too and it's clear I dodged a bullet.
