I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines in Jun 2014
Interview
Initial phone interview is the basics. Went to a hotel to do the in person interviews. Watched a couple movie clips and a HR rep went through a PowerPoint. Then we were split up into three groups which had about 12 peopl in them. The group interview had two employees asking you questions. It was pretty laid back and you were given a situation and had to respond to it on the spot. The face to face interview wasn't bad either. Just asked basic questions and finding out who you are. All of the Alaska employees were awesome and really friendly! They made everyone feel really comfortable in a stressful situation.

Several typical questions, very easy. Lasted less than 30 mins. They were eager to hire, it looks like. Let me know about the result of the interview the same day.

Interview
I applied for the CSA position and answered about 50 questions . I was invited to a pre orientation presentation via Zoom. There were about 35 people on the call. It lasted an hour. Individuals were not asked any questions , but you could ask questions . We were told we would hear within the next few days if chosen for a one on one interview. Basically they have their mind made up since they do not get to know you .

Very simple, easy, and straight forward. All you have to do is go into the interview, and be yourself. Smile a lot and show the recruiters why you are the right person for the job
