I applied online. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2024
Interview
Amazing people. They make you feel comfortable but still very nerve racking process. Started with so many candidates and the group got smaller and smaller. Be prepared for a very long day where you are being watched the whole time. Don’t sit alone. BE SOCIABLE! Mingle with the flight attendants there because they go and talk to the hiring managers and give their input so all the time you’re waiting in between be sure to make a good impression on them. Smile and be enthusiastic. Have some questions prepared to ask all throughout the day. I made it to the final round. Group was super small by then. Just FYI, if you make to the final round do not get comfortable and think you made it because a lot of us got eliminated after that round. I have nothing bad to say because they were amazing. Also, I love how honest and upfront they are if you don’t get the job. They tell you on the spot whereas other airlines will tell you to expect an email and get your hopes up for nothing. That shows Alaska has some integrity. Will try again. I’m not bummed.
In person at Alaska Airlines office.

Interview
Two virtual interviews that included an AI interview, a personality questionnaire and a “test” of your ability to use resources provided to answer flight-related questions. After that you’re invited to an in-person interview.
The interview process is lengthy and in depth. They really dive deep. Overall, it was a great experience and ensured that they find the right fit. I did end up accepting and am awaiting training.
