I first asked about opening. I was told to apply online. I followed up for one month one day a week asking the meat manager if he needed any one when many had said he did. He then called a month later and said he would interview. 5 days went by and I called and he said to come today at 3 p.m. I just knew I had the job. I show up along with 4 other young guys. I wait a long time about one hour and finally a person tells me to go to another location. I am asked questions about customers and then how I would sell an ink pen to a person. I answer ok but the interviewer says I could have said such and such. They tell me they will do a background check. I have waited now 5 days and was told a background check only takes 24 hours and that if I haven't heard anything they may have selected someone else. Unbelievable. College student with clean record.
