      Marketing Executive Interview

      Oct 13, 2014
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Express (London, England) in Sep 2013

      Interview

I went through 2 interviews. Group and individual. It was a tough environment, almost a bit pack fight mentality to seperate the weak from the chaff. But, a great sense of achievment lies if you are up to the challenge and good enough to come through the other end.

      Question 1

How does the history of AMEX effect its aquisition strategy going forward.

      Interview

Was interviewing for Marketing Executive in the London office. Would’ve liked to hear more about the position during the phone screening interview, but the recruiter asked only three questions and didn’t give any chance for me to ask. During the second and third round was interview with hiring manager. The manager was very understandable and approachable, in general, very good experience of interviews.

      Interview

Interviews are normally three stages consisting of biographical & competency/situational questions in person & finally an informal chat with the director via webex. Sometimes presentations are required & the company can offer phone/webex interviews too
