I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at American Express
Interview
Phone screen, behavior interview, case study. You get to speak to ~3 people at the company including the recruiter. Everyone is really nice, but think they can give more guidance on the case study as it was written a bit confusingly.
The interview was fine. Conversation flowed. Interviewer was relaxed and conversational which put me at ease. It was a good conversation and didn't feel like a list of questions being thrown at me. I selected Neutral because I never heard anything back. I get people are busy and it's just basic respect. It takes 30 seconds to send a "thanks but no thanks" email.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at American Express (New York, NY)
Interview
Four rounds, going up in leadership, over about three weeks; all in-person as I was an internal transfer (and hiring leader reached out to my previous leader for feedback); mostly behavioral questions and one short case; received decision about a week after final round of interview; received official contract around two weeks later (this for some reason took slightly longer); whole process was a bit dragged out but otherwise no complaints
