Was called out of the blue asking if I'd like to interview for a job the next day. Was friendly, told me who the company was and gave me directions and tips for finding the office and where to park. Upon arrival, noticed there were many, many people waiting around. Filled out the paperwork asked of me and was shuttled into an office to talk to someone for about 5 minutes, and then shuttled into another room for a presentation that they called an "interview", but was more of a sales pitch to make us excited about working for the company, and that it's a can't miss proposition; the things almost any company would say to make you interested in working for them... even though in most cases it's the other way around.
About an hour after I returned home I got a call asking to come in for a 1 on 1 interview, which was, again, less of an interview and more of a "selling our company to you" event. Was most interested in whether or not I was able to afford the licensing and could handle being a 1099. Did not decide on taking the position at the time, and was set up for another interview, but after sleeping on it over a weekend and weighing the pros and cons, decided to pass on taking the position.
