when I got the call back in Nov or Dec 2015 there was a lot of discussion about being an account manager and that the pay was excellent. I asked what the job was and made it a point to mention that I did not want to do sales he assured me it was not sales and that I would be an in house account manager I asked about the product /service they provided and he said that I'd be given all the details at the interview. I should have known from that but I was just thrilled to have been called for an interview (it's sparse out there if you do NOT want to sell) I get there and within 10 minutes there are 8 to 10 of us in a very small waiting room. I knew right then and there this was going to be one of THOSE interviews where you were going to have to sell something to make all that money he talked about over the phone. 90 minutes later we find out that you need licenses etc to do the job to the tune of $300.00 in total. I've been out of work for over a year and just want a job so I can make money and pay my bills. The last thing I need is to spend more money that I don't have. So I told them this wasn't for me I didn't even wait for the one on one interview. they didn't even thank me for my time he just started to talk to someone else Why can't these companies just be up front, there are a lot of people that would do well in these positions. Here is the funny thing I am still looking for work and am diligent in avoiding their ads and at least twice a month I get a call from them about a job I applied for which i know I haven't. I've even talked to them a couple of times and told them I had already been to one of their seminars/interviews and was not interested. they still call. I just wish I got that many calls from real jobs.
