Amplify interview questions

Applied cold via the firm's website, but also knew someone who worked at the company (this person was less than helpful in getting me an interview). HR "gate-keeper" knew very little regarding the actual position, much less about the firm. When asked a very mundane question regarding how big the company was in terms of revenue; interviewer replied (verbatim): "how would I know I'm in HR?" Well played Sir...well played. But I persevered and made it to the end. After being told next steps would include speaking to the hiring manager and that I was pushed through to the next round, I never heard back. Attempts to gauge my standing as a candidate over the course of (2) weeks fell on deaf ears. I never even received a courtesy email/ call that I was no longer in the running. Filed away as a company that does not value other people's time, lacks competency to conduct a meaningful conversation, and highly disorganized.

I had one phone interview and then an in-person group interview. I also had to prepare a sample storyboard for an educational video. The whole process only took about a week and half.
