I recently had a phone interview with a recruiter from Arrive Logistics for their BDR position in Tampa, FL. The call was about 20–30 minutes and felt more like a conversation than a formal interview. The recruiter walked me through what the day-to-day looks like for a BDR—prospecting, cold calling, and building relationships with carriers and shippers. They also talked about the company culture, which seems really fast-paced and competitive but also team-oriented and supportive, with a lot of training for new hires. I was able to share my background, why I was interested in sales, and what drew me to logistics specifically. Overall, the recruiter was professional, friendly, and transparent about expectations and the career growth path. It gave me a good sense of whether the role and environment would be a fit.
