The entire process from start to finish took six weeks. First was the video interview with two writers from the team. Later that day I received an email inviting me to the next round, during which I'd have 48 hours to create a work sample. Almost three weeks after that, I received an invitation to a final interview with five people - director of content, senior manager of customer success, and three content writers, two of whom I had already met. They told me I'd hear back in the next week, but then when the following week came, I received an email that stated they'd messed up and would be following up the very next week. I had to send emails of follow up to get a canned response.
Before applying, just know that Articulate is pretty secure in its position in the market and knows this; they draw the process out a long while and aren't very considerate of candidate's time and investment. The work sample took about 10 hours to complete, 2200 words. Interviewing totaled about three hours. The fact that I had to chase them down to get them to reject me says it all. This was my second attempt interviewing with them; the last position I interviewed for they claimed they never filled but instead went in a different direction. Overall, while they are an industry leader and create a nice product, I know I won't be applying with them again.
