I met initially with the VP of sales, had a good discussion, and then asked if I wanted to continue forward in the interview process. When I said "yes", i was given a project whereby I was given the name of a potential customer and asked how I would go about bringing this customer's business in to Articulate; I was asked the tools I would use, the person(s) I would contact, how often I would reach out, etc. I wasn't given a strict timeline but I took about a week to complete a presentation on the topics. I then presented my thoughts to the VP of sales and 3 other members of the sales team. There was some back-and-forth discussion, and and then that was it. It was a day or so later that the VP and I ironed out the job details, and then an offer letter came through shortly afterward.
Throughout the process the VP of Sales was honest, open, and transparent about what the sales team was looking for, what the responsibilities would be, how the compensation was structured, etc. It was the best interview I think I've ever had.
