An initial call with a HR person, followed by some technical glitches (re-requesting my CV?), then they booked in four(!?) interviews across two days as I was already progressing with other roles. All of the interviews were with people in the US and none would be on my team. Two were technical with live coding and involved two different versions of the same basic problem. The guys were nice and I nailed the problems (they said so themselves) but they'd clearly been pulled in a few minutes before; they left <5 minutes at the end for any questions and didn't know anything about the role or team I'd be working with.
The other two were softer skills interviews with managers. They asked about value i'd brought in other roles, challenges I'd faced, etc.
I was warned they wanted answers phrased in a specific way and one of them was quite condescending and unpleasant, but I worked through it.
After two intense days they said a decision would take about two weeks, then blanked me for a month before finally declining with no feedback. I found it interesting they'd slam me with interviews when it suited them but then ghost when it didn't.
I'll be honest, it was a sea a red flags. When I probed the technical devs about working there they seemed downtrodden and overworked, with one admitting it felt like there was never enough time to get things done. The managerial interviews were quite unpleasant and condescending and somewhat rigid in thinking. If they'd offered the job I would have declined.
