The volume of candidates is one factor. We often have many qualified applicants for each of our open positions, and we take the job of finding the best fit for the position very seriously. When someone takes the time to apply for a career at Aya or we reach out to them because we feel they may be a good fit, we feel we owe that person careful consideration. We are meticulous, and that takes time. Also, we often consider candidates for additional positions. We find some candidates are a fit for multiple positions at Aya, and we take the time to consider all possibilities.
