Interview
Phone call with recruiter to establish baseline interest/compatibly. Take home technical assessment. Took about an hour. No stupid leetcode questions, just some basic 'can you code' challenges and a simple SQL test. Phone call with engineering manager. Discussed high level expectations and previous experience. Asked me a few questions about current projects and leadership. One hour technical interview (video). Real-life system design problem and a few basic programming questions (oop, clean code, etc). One hour culture-fit interview (video as well). How do you deal with conflict, what's your philosophy on dealing with legacy code, basic "are you a jerk" filter questions. Overall was very impressed with the quality and professionalism of the interviews and interviewers. Seemed like they were looking for legit real world experience over rote memorization of academic algorithms. Very quick turnaround as well.

Interview
Culture phone screen, then technical phone screen, to be followed by (I believe) in-person interview. I enjoyed what I learned about the company from the culture fit phone screen. And I think the technical phone screen was done well because I didn't advance to the next stage. I got enough of a sense from the technical screen that the position wouldn't be a good fit for me at this time, so I was glad when they rejected me. I just really appreciated the chance to interview with them.
