I applied for the job on their website. I was contacted, in about 1 hour, by a practice manager. She asked a few screening questions on the phone: tell me about yourself? tell me about the work you do? She said I sounded great. Her location was too far from my home, so she referred me to a local Banfield. I interviewed with that practice manager, approximately four days later. I thought the interview went well: It lasted about one hour, and we finished with her saying that she was going to get some numbers for a salary from corporate and also go online to get my references. I noticed that the vets and all the people working at this location were young--I'd say 30 and under. Four days later, and I didn't hear anything. I called and got an e-mail that they were not going to pursue. I was very surprised: I have sales, client service, and pet experience, plus I really wanted the job. The only negative I can think of is that I specified that my preference would be to have late morning to evening and not early morning shifts.
