I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Nov 2011
Interview
First you attend a group interview (you feel like you're in a cattle call), then you go back with questions for Bankers and finally a one on one interview. There were never any tough interview questions since Bankers isn't going to pay you anything but commissions, they just want agents filling seats and selling insurance.

Question 1
Are you ready today to sign up for the licensing course?
At first is pretty much a really quick screening process over the phone, then a phone interview, and then like two in person interviews basically, with two different higher ups.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Muncie, IN) in Mar 2026
Interview
It started with a briefing seminar in a group before an in person interview. The questions were brief and in line with other sales jobs. Motivation seems to be the highest desire from the employer.
Very easy group briefing and then a personal one on one interview. You get to see exactly what you'll be getting into and the awesome structure of the company. You also get to see how you can develop your career there.
