I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Portland, OR) in Jun 2015
Interview
I had an group interview that was more like a seminar. They asked a few questions to see how qualified I was, but mostly gave a presentation that was formatted to make the company sound very good. The hidden truths that they won't bring up is the fact that no one wants to talk to insurance agents. To get appointments you have to basically be a telemarketer for two days then run to those appointments. One point that helped me decide to quit is how they don't care so much if you make any mistakes they don't try to guard the name of the company because all of their agents are 1099. They will tell you to go out and make mistakes to learn, but the mistakes you make effects peoples lives, sometimes in very negative ways.

Question 1
They had me rate on a piece of paper certain traits that I considered important in a workplace.

Interview
No real interview. Made statements about the great earning potential of the job and that you are your own boss. In hindsight, should have asked more questions about the job prior to accepting it. 1099 position, so no base pay and no benefits, but 100% commission. Great company to work for, but know what you are getting yourself into.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Jacksonville, FL)
Interview
Brief call I explained I was no longer interested. The individual interviewing was very courteous and polite. They did not try to convince me other wise. It was understood by both parties that I was no longer interested.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Wichita, KS) in Jun 2016
Interview
received a phone call about opportunities available at the local branch. Took the opportunity to meet with them, but was not able to meet with the intended individual. the Individual I did interview with did not look at my resume and was more concerned about his time than what I had to offer. They also wanted me to come back to sit in on a group interview slide show to go over the company.
