I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Charlotte, NC) in Mar 2016
Interview
Bankers Life reached out to me. They asked to set up an interview with me to come into their office. I was unaware of the fact it would be a group briefing on the company and what the position was like. They make it seem like you have an interview with one particular person in their office, but that is not the case. (Something I wish I knew ahead of time. Bring a copy of your resume. This position is 100% commissioned base. If you don't believe you have the work ethic to work hard I do not suggest applying. After the briefing they ask you to fill out a survey asking if you would like a follow-up interview. I actually had my follow up interview in a different office in a much different setting. It was way more relaxed and I was able to be myself and really see what the company had to offer. I was extended an offer if I decided to move to that area.

Question 1
Why Bankers Life? Why Sales? Are you okay with 100% commission based?
At first is pretty much a really quick screening process over the phone, then a phone interview, and then like two in person interviews basically, with two different higher ups.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Muncie, IN) in Mar 2026
Interview
It started with a briefing seminar in a group before an in person interview. The questions were brief and in line with other sales jobs. Motivation seems to be the highest desire from the employer.
