I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bazaarvoice (London, England) in Sep 2020
Interview
Really enjoyable interview process. Everyone I was in contact with was friendly, bright and passionate about the business which is always a great sign. I was treated really well, and always felt well prepared for each stage thanks to regular check-ins with their recruitment team, who always made the effort to keep me updated.
The process was relatively lengthy: 4 stages (phone screen, manager screen, 3 x 30 min team interviews, presentation to a panel), but ultimately a comfort to know how much care the business take when bringing in talent. Most of the team I had spoken to had been in the business for a long time, which speaks volumes.

Question 1
Was ist Ihnen persönlich bei einem Arbeitgeber wichtig?
Very long process, however the interviewers we personable. Numerous interviewers from recruiter to panel of managers. Recruiter interview, one on one with the hiring manager, one on one with 4 managers, panel interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Bazaarvoice
Interview
Extremely long and drawn out (~3 months). The recruiter let me know 5 minutes after my first interview was supposed to begin that they couldn't make it and would follow up to reschedule. I reached out several times to reschedule for a month and never heard back. I finally had another recruiter reach out after contacting multiple employees on LinkedIn... I should have known better.
The employees expressed that the recruiters are not great at their jobs (lack of follow up, delayed communication, etc.) and that management knows this and that they were told "that's just the way it is." I made it to the final round after many interviews. The final round was a case study (a bit excessive) with an extremely vague prompt/guideline. When it came time for the case study, the panel seemed unprepared/not in-sync with one another. None of the suggested questions were asked and they completely went off-script from what little was provided on the case study one-pager. Some questions you would only know the answer to if you worked there. Complete waste of time. Worst interview I've ever had.
