I applied online. Within a week I was contacted via email to set up an initial phone interview. This was basically a screening call to make sure I was serious about the position and to ensure that I understood there would be a period without income to start. The second call was the real interview.

Easy. 45 mins. Answered all questions. Still skeptical. Asked when was training, close to my home and is 2 days long. Found out nothing is paid. Cell phone, gas, et al...on you. But they were straight forward about that. I accepted the training but again I am skeptical. I hope this works out because I have time in sales and newsletters etc...was told it typically takes 8-10 weeks to meet the baseline ($4000) in sales or space in publication. After which, you received 80% of commission above baseline. There seems there is very little start up costs (i.e., business cards, phone, gas) but I will judge this after the training Oct 15-16. I also asked about retention rates and was told about 50%.
