I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Best Western (Lansing, MI) in Mar 2014
Interview
I applied online through my university's career website. I received an email the next day asking me to come in for an interview. They only asked me if I had customer service experience, and asked for certain experience from my previous jobs. My interview lasted for literally 5 minutes, and the next day they offered me the job. I started training about four days after that.
The interview process was very quick and concise. The questions asked were basic and straight forward so there were no surprises. You don't have to worry if you have never worked in this position.

Question 1
Do you have experience working in a customer service role?
It was very brief. The hiring manager didn't ask me a lot of questiins, and I feel that the hiring manager didn't do a good job laying out all the responsibilities

Interview
Was pretty simple, employer wanted to make sure you could communicate more than anything. Lots of behavioral and situational questions. Also went over a couple different techniques to deal with customers.
