The entire interview process took about a month. I initially spoke with the recruiter, Courtney, who is without a doubt the best recruiter I have ever worked with. Between managing/hiring a team and interviewing in my life, I’ve worked with a lot. She was exceptionally thorough- covering company, team, job, compensation and laid out the process moving forward so there were no surprises. Next, I met with the hiring manager for 30 min who asked a lot of questions but made sure I was able to get all of my questions answers as well. I would have appreciated more personality during this first meeting if I’m being honest. Felt almost robotic at times. Up next, there is a homework presentation. It took me about 4 days to finish while juggling working full-time. I presented it to the hiring manager which might have been the most fun part for me. After that was concluded, I got to meet a lot more people that I would be working with on a day-to-day basis which gave me a good idea if I could really see myself working here. Then I had a final round interview. LOTS of steps! If you don’t have a flexible working schedule, this will be hard to get through in a month. My personal opinion, it was nice to meet all of the different people but some interviews, like the final one, felt a bit redundant.
