Initially contacted by an internal Bose recruiter and had a 30-minute interview to discuss my experience, etc. An interview with the hiring manager was set up within the next week, which I thought was great.
Had a phone interview with the hiring manager, which I thought went well. The hiring manager informed me that we would speak again for an interview in January. i kept in touch by asking additional questions about the operations, etc, which the manager thought were "great questions" and stated we would discuss as soon as recruitment set up another interview,
Contacted the manage an additional time, and was informed that they would be moving forward with another candidate.
My problem is, you all but promised me an interview in person in the next few weeks. Had I not contacted you, would you have ever told me that I was no longer in the running?
It really is a shame that those interviewing viable candidates don't close the loop on these interviews, and leaves potential candidates hanging. Very bad practice.
