The process is very simple. You fill out the application and attend the orientation. Bear in mind that orientations are only offered about 6-7 times in a year and you need to get recommendations from a professor or a professional colleague as well. At the orientation, you hand in the application materials and learn more about the program. It is a great opportunity to learn more about medicine. After the orientation, you wait a week for your name to be placed in the system and then you pickup your ID badge and can begin to volunteer.
