I met with a recruiter at their Boston office to discuss summer internship positions, as they have an internship program and work with students to place them. The interview was not difficult, but I was unimpressed by the lack of professionalism of the recruiter, who never replied when I sent a couple of short, polite follow-up emails.
I understand that recruitment is a process and you can't always place everyone right away, but at least afford your candidates the basic professional courtesy of responding to their emails and being honest with them. Behavior like this is what gives staffing agencies a bad name.
