Round 1 was an online assessment (easy-medium leetcode). Round 2 was an interview that involved a 1-hour technical assessment (had to code a solution to a problem related to data structures and hash maps) and at the end they asked a few questions about the code and about your experience. Round 3 had two parts, part 1 had 3-4 behavioral questions and part 2 was a 1.5-hour technical (to lay out the format and minimal code for a certain type of app you would build).

Question 1
If you were assigned to be part of a project where you could demonstrate your prior knowledge, but your manager reassigns you to a project you know very little about, what would be your reaction?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CME Group in Jan 2024
Interview
Passed online coding assessment through glider.ai.
Passed first round interview with an engineer at CME. I was asked to code up a solution to an "easy" leetcode problem.
Failed final round interview. 2 hrs 15 min interview split into three parts. First part was simple behavioral screening with a recruiter. Second part I had to find a bug in some code. It was extremely easy to find. The second part of the interview also involved discussing taking home problem (medium leetcode). You had 1 hr to do the take home problem before the interview. The third part of the interview I was asked to design a "trading system".
