When i first heard about CapTech, i was very impressed with the reviews on glassdoor and vault. I thought of applying for one of their position posted on their website. Once applied, after few days i received a call from HR who wants to do some basic phone screen. This phone screen has some tricky behavioral questions which i'm glad i was able to answer all of them correctly.
Within the same day i got an email to do a technical interview. On my technical interview, the captecher was really nice and joked for couple of minutes to put me at ease. I have never ever seen at any other interviewer because most of them just right jump on question and try to make you nervous. Anyhow, this captecher is very intelligent and will ask you questions related to your resume. Most of the questions were not what you see online. You will only know these answers if you have worked with the technology stack you have written in your resume. Lots of questions about spring web mvc, spring jdbc vs hibernate, consultant questions also.
Once i cleared the technical i got the final day pass to come to their Reston VA office for a 3 round interview. There new office building is simply stunning with ping pong, table tennis, beautiful 55 or 70 inch TV screen with couches to relax and chit chat. Felt like i was at google. These Captechers are juding you on your experience and they wanted to see how do you handle certain tasks. I have given lots of interviews but this one was really tricky. There were couple of questions where i told the captecher that i need sometime to think about it.
Overall i am pleased with their smooth interview process. Everyone at their office is friendly from HR to CapTechers who took my interviews at their office. Captech benefits and salary are very competetive and they have the top notch benefits and relocation package. Unfortunately, i already have something better aligned for me. If not then definitely i would have been a captecher. Overall, the way this company is growing sky is the limit.
