I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Carahsoft (Reston, VA)
Interview
Initially you'll hear from a recruiter on the phone, who will introduce themselves and ask about you, and then schedule your first interview. You'll come in and meet the director of the team you're interviewing for, plus 1-2 other people from the team. You'll hear from the recruiter again, and repeat the process for 1-2 more interviews. Once they have decided to hire you, you'll get a call to come in and meet with your director/manager to go over your contract.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Be prepared to answer "why government IT sales?" Recruiter who contacts you will fill you in extremely well - you'll feel prepared.
The interview was a good process. This was a relatively easy interview process. Had around 3-4 total interviews before an offer. Overall very good experience. The questions were very straight forward and made sense for the role and for what the company does.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Carahsoft (Alexandria, VA) in Jul 2024
Interview
Phone call interview that lasts 10 minutes. It was strange because it wasn't questions about my talent, but more so about whether I had offers elsewhere and what places I'd been applying to. I did deny that I've been receiving offers, which I suggest anyone do because what a strange thing to ask. Anyway, that ended the conversation, and I was supposed to wait for the supervisor, but they never contacted me. Then eventually they did plan to set an interview, but then cancelled it with no rescheduled date. Overall, I didn't feel great about the company, especially with this behavior and the questions asked during the interview.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Carahsoft
Interview
Interview process took about a month. Interview was not hard, but extensive. Had probably five or so meetings/calls with the recruiter before an actual interview. Then had a virtual group interview with 4 project managers.
