Cellular Sales Cellular Sales Representative interview questions

I was contacted by a recruiter who asked me if I was interested in changing careers. We had a very short "tell me about yourself' phone interview. That went well and then we set up another longer phone interview for the next week. That was a typical interview which went fine. Nothing unusual in the questions. Then two weeks later he sent me some essay questions. Short and easy to answer. , Then 7 days later he sent me some promotional videos to watch. Then he told me he was going to set up a video interview, which took him 10 days to send to me. So now i am into this for like 5 weeks with tons of dead time between "steps". This is for a job that supposedly was already open. I finish the video interview and 7 days later get his response. "Congratulations you have made it through the final step of the pre-interview process." 6 weeks in and I have never even had a face to face. Long story shorter, 10 days later he sets up the in person interview. Went okay. He told me he would get back to me in 3 days. It has been 7 now. Still have another interview, sales aptitude test, drug test/criminal background check, etc. to go. Feel like he had no openings available when he posted the ad and is stringing me along until someone quits. By the way, the ad is still up. What a hassle for a job selling cell phones in a strip mall.

Phone screen to make sure you knew what you were getting into and if you could talk efficiently I suppose, then a two person interview, one at a time. Went OK and got a call back about the job a few days later. I accepted and will start training after the holidays are over.
