I applied for the Cellular Sales Position via Linkedin. I was called within a few days by a recruiter for a brief phone interview. I was scheduled for a face-to-face interview that same week. The focus of the second interview was asking questions like: What is your greatest achievement? Describe your least favorite boss and favorite boss?, etc . . . They made it a point to tell me how thorough their hiring process is, and that it is a big achievement to get offered a position. They focus on telling you how great the pay is and they are not looking for a people just happy to get a paycheck. They sell you on the unlimited income potential. They also are very proud of how fast their company has grown. Most of the questions are standard interview questions. I was given a 3rd interview with the head recruiter for the state. He was very to the point. Asking why he should hire me over other candidates, What income was I looking to make?, Am I teachable? It almost felt like he was making me earn an opportunity to get hired by him. He let me know he was the "manager" for the state. They don't have any true managers only recruiters and sales reps. In my state, which was a new one for them, they had a bare bones staff. A few recruiters and a few back office people, plus the reps working the kiosks. They talk about the high integrity of their company, and how well they service their customers.
