I applied for the Data Analyst II role via the Centene careers website. The interview process started with a phone screening by HR, followed by a panel interview with a senior analyst and the team manager.
The questions were mostly straightforward, focusing on my experience with SQL, working with CMS data, and understanding of the role. The panel was professional and courteous throughout the discussion.
After the interview, I didn’t hear back for nearly a month. Eventually, I received a rejection email stating that the hiring needs had changed, which was a bit disappointing after investing time in the process.
Advice to Other Candidates:
Be ready to discuss your technical background, especially around SQL and healthcare data. While the interview itself was standard and professional, communication on the outcome could be improved to avoid long periods of silence.
