I applied in-person. I interviewed at Centene (Sacramento, CA) in Sep 2017
Interview
Interview was average but easy. I was offered the position for Health Net but Centene rescinded the offer because of my negotiation letter. They did not allow room for compromise or negotiate. I am very shocked and disappointed at their action. I have worked for Health Net before they merged with Centene and Health Net HR was respectfully and allow room for negotiation. Centene HR is ridiculous strict. They will loosing out on hardworking, educated and seasoned individuals.

They really need to be more decisive. I applied, accepted and started a job before they contacted me for a second interview. The questions weren’t overly challenging, but that could have come further in the process.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Centene (Tampa, FL) in Sep 2021
Interview
Applied on website, received an email within a week asking for a phone interview to go over the job. A few days later I had my initial phone interview, then a week later had a zoom interview with two supervisors. Was offered a job the same day. The next day I submitted by authorization to do a background check and received the results within 6 days. Questions were basic behavioral, told them a little about me and what I had to offer.
