I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Centene
Interview
Applied Online, and heard back in a week or two. No technical questions, only behavioral. Had three back to back to back interviews, one with HR, one supposed with a business analyst, and one with an IT manager. Heard back in a few more weeks, and they gave me 48 hours to accept offer.
Was called my the hiring manager and they basically just talked through my resume with me. It was rather informal and informational. Later I got followed up with by a recruiter who let me know they were going to offer me the job. I hadn't even realized the initial phone call was an interview.
Initial phone interview with someone from HR. Questions were mostly easy behavior ones like why I picked my major. Called back for an onsite interview with the manager I would be working for. Questions were a mix of situational questions like "tell me a time when you were in charge of a group", and about my programming experience. They did take a very long time to get back to me after that interview. about a month later they called me with an offer.
I applied online. I interviewed at Centene (Saint Louis, MO) in Apr 2017
Interview
The interview process was typical and pretty easy. A lot of it was my manager sharing about what she did and the position being offered. I was asked if I wanted to be a developer in IT because the position did not involve development. I said no because I wanted to be on more of the business side of IT.
