I interviewed for a position that I believed they were hiring for. I met the director of a department and the hiring manager. Interview went well. No response for 2 weeks. I reached out to the recruiter when I saw that my status changed to “not selected” in Workday and that the job had been reposted. Ghosted by the recruiter. Job still posted 3 months later and gets reposted every 2 weeks. I’m amazed that they’re interviewing people and wasting the time of employees and candidates when they’re not even hiring. Shameful. Only red flag I noticed early on was that the recruiter talked about the position being salaried in the screening call when the posting indicated it was hourly. In retrospect, I found the interview to be easy and not focused on my past experience. They did detail some expectations for the role but it seemed a bit vague.
