The Manager will meet with you and ask about prior food related experience, if you're avilable to work the shifts that they need covered, and the basics of their code of conduct/policies, among other basics. My interviewer was pretty friendly and polite, and answered all of my questions.

Question 1
Do you have prior experience in food related customer service?
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
The interview process included an application, attending a brief in-person interview, answering questions about teamwork, availability, customer service, and attitude, and was sometimes followed by a same-day or quick hiring decision.
Very tired manager and kept getting sidetracked seemed uninterested in interview process. Couldn't concentrate on what he was saying. Not good interview at all and I knew I wouldn't get a call back by way he acted
