I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (San Diego, CA) in Jul 2016
Interview
I went in store to ask about employment. The lady said to come in the following Monday for an interview. I go in and I wait for 20 min to be interviewed which was a little frustrating. She just asked me to tell her about myself and write down my availability. She said I'd receive a call later that night or the next day for a 2nd interview. I never received a call so I wait until Friday to call them only for them to say that they cant offer me the position...without even a second interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Denton, TX)
Interview
Interview process was straightforward and easy. You submit an online application. Then you do an in-person interview with a manager. The manager I met with was very friendly and the youngest ever at this branch (or district). She asked me general questions about my background, if I had experience working in customer service, food, etc., my availability, and asked if I had any questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Melrose Park, IL) in Jan 2022
Interview
It was very short and easy half the time these companies are in desperate need for employees and just want somebody with flexible schedules and someone who is reliable. Just smile and relax. I personally didn't even get asked that many question just got hired
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What do you think describes a good customer interaction?
The process lasted less than 10 minutes, and all the questions asked I was prepared for since I found them online the night before. Simple things like "where do you see yourself in 6 months," and "what makes you want to work here". Everything was extremely casual and it was not a group interview since I was hired during COVID-19.
