I applied online. The next day, I received an email stating there are open interviews on mondays and wednesdays from 3:30-5:00. Earlier that day, before i checked my email, I called them and the person i spoke to told me about the open interviews.
(This is my very first job application and job interview)
I go to the open interview and there were 2-3 other people there. After 2 people, I was interviewed. The guy who did my interview was the General Manager. I was asked basic questions such as level of education, what days and shifts I would like to work, do i have reliable transportation, what do I usually do everyday.
Then I was asked if i knew background information about chipotle which is food with integrity and the CEO Steve Ells. I did, because prior to the interview I looked up these facts on their website.
In the middle of this interview, the general manager went to his office and pulled up my application and took a quick look but that's it.
Then questions came up like Why do you want to work at chipotle? What do you expect to get out of working from chipotle? Where do you see yourself in this job in a few months? Do you see yourself in the line or in the food prep?
After that, he had another person, a kitchen manager, interview me with the same questions and they were gonna have one more manager, the service manager, interview me as well but that manager was busy with someone else. They hired me. Manager told me they sent me a link to a background check test on my email, fill the form and once they get the form they will call me when I start.
