I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle
Interview
It was my first interview so I was ready but nervous!! I learned everything I was suppose to learn and I was ready to answer some questions; when I got there thee long was pretty busy so I waited for the cashier to finish and I asked her that I had an interview and she told me to wait in the seating area, this chipotle was very dirty with food all over the floor!! When the interview started there was another girl with me and she had much more experience than me work wise. The general manager asked to put our names and phone number down on a piece of paper. Although I studied many things about chipotle, not too many questions about chipotle were asked, towards the end he asked a simple question 'what's your favorite movie?' And I froze, not sure why but I did not expect a simple question like that!! It was short and sweet but looking back at it I believe that if I did a little bit better, I could of have gotten the job. I did not get the job but I thought I was a little unprofessional that they did not send me an email saying that I was declined. Well practice makes perfect!!!
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
