I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Blue Springs, MO) in Jun 2012
Interview
Group interview.
They want to see energetic, happy, friendly people at the interviews.
Both of my interviewers were Hispanic with accents, the music was too loud, & I couldn't understand anything they were saying. Made it pretty hard to answer questions.
They want people who live & breathe Chipotle. Know what the company does, & what they stand for.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
very easy, two interviews, one over phone and in-person, less than 30 minutes and talked with store manager and some of the crew, got a tour of the back kitchen ask about weekends and experience
Casual interview, sat at a table with manager. Asked basic questions about yourself, and your ability to work with others. Discussed food handling safety. Mostly focused on why I wanted to work there vs. other places and how long I planned to stay.
Cancelled a few hours before when I was on my way to the interview. Never once communicated with a human being and was never given any information after I scheduled the interview.
