I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Classy, Inc (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2022
Interview
They persistently reached out to me and the kind recruiter confirmed I was a great fit. Did everything I could to look into the role, company, resources and hiring manager that I was speaking with next. The manager was absolutely cold, unwelcoming and continued to provide awkward pauses every time I answered the questions efficiently. My experience was also downplayed even though I had more experience than the hiring manager. The offered salary was the lowest I've heard of, especially for San Francisco. I'm a victim of "happy ears" because I thought I would have an opportunity to move to the next round. I checked all the post interview boxes and felt confident to then get shut down by a generic "going with other candidates" template.
Great mission, and I'm sure a great company.
The process was a series of virtual video interviews. First with the various sales managers, then with the director of sales, and finally with the EVP of sales. Throughout the process HR kept in touch via email and guided me on what to expect in each subsequent next step.
Screener call with recruiter, than another with manager. Three interviews with managers. Quick, informative and thorough. Felt like my time was respected and that I got all my questions answered.
