The process starts with an outsourced recruiter reaching out to you from a consulting firm. They will offer you a Calendarly invite to speak about the role. As soon as you schedule and meet with them, they get you on the phone to talk about the job description, company and expect you to have low expectations and long hours about 50-55 hours expected.
Once you accept, they will first ask for your resume, review it and then send you a massive time-wasting "Mini Project" which consists of a video showcasing their product features, 2 mock email responses and a standard typing test. Be prepared to set aside 12+ hours for this along with your full-time job during a pandemic using Loom to record your screen with you in the video. They seem to purposely not provide enough instructions to even tell you that you have to download their software and spend hours learning how to navigate it.
From then on, after you submit the project they will give you a canned response in rejection after complimenting your skills only to say you don't have the qualifications that they already reviewed before you started the whole process.
