I applied for the job, and after a 30 minute interview with an HR employee, I was assigned 2 mini projects which took about 2 hours to complete. After the mini projects were submitted and reviewed, I was selected for a final phase interview, in which I had to create a mock-up "space" on their software (took about 6 hours to create and even more time studying their software enough to get to the point of being able to create it). The interview itself was conducted via zoom with 2 of ClickUp's team members, and it consisted of a question-answer portion, followed by me demonstrating what I built in their software. It was a 2 hour long interview, and I thought that it went really well. I was told that they really liked me and my qualifications, and that I would hear from them in a few days.
The following morning, I woke up to an email from a no-reply email address with one line "You have not been selected for this position." After such a long process and so much of my time going into preparing for this interview, I would have really appreciated a little more personalization in the rejection email. It felt very cold. I reached out for feedback only to have my email bounced back as undeliverable. I'm not sure what went wrong, and I'm guessing I'll never know.
