Applied and then was contacted pretty quick. Screen interview was okay.. it was weird though because they didn't imply if I was moving forward or not, I had to ask when I should expect to hear from them in regards to moving forward, and then they were like "oh yeah, I'll send an email". So you get to the next stage, and it's a mini project which takes a good amount of your time because you want it to be perfect, even though they claim they just want to see how you approach it. You'll get some tools for ideas. Then you do the video and they'll basically tell you it could've been better when the example video given showed the person doing the bare minimum and barely smiling. I thought for sure the email project was a winner, even followed the format they use when they email, but I got marked down for little things when they're supposedly only evaluating on "approach". Didn't hear back from them for a while, so I had to follow-up. Although, they were quick to tell me that I wasn't "qualified" based solely on my project submission. It's kind of funny because there really isn't much qualifications to match. Seems pretty tough for an entry-level CS job and they're constantly looking to recruit. Oh well, it must be a blessing in disguise.
