I recently interviewed for a position at Cloudbeds after applying on their website. The application was easy to fill out and the job description was very clear and to the point. Shortly after applying, I received an email from the tech recruiter to initiate the interviewing process, which roughly consisted of the following steps:
1. First interview with the tech recruiter to go over the role and discuss some stuff on the resume and some general experience questions.
2. Second interview with Karat, a third-party company that conducts live technical assessments and coding reviews.
3. Interview with an engineering manager.
4. Interview with a principal engineer.
5. Interview with an engineering director.
The first part of the Karat interview was software architectural questions and discussion, then the second part was a coding/problem solving session.
The other interviews were more conversational in nature and involved technical and behavioral discussions, and professional background checks. The interviewers were professional, friendly, and courteous.
The tech recruiter, Svetlana Danilov, was awesome to work with and kept me updated throughout the whole process. She was very responsive and helpful!
