I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Colgate-Palmolive (Mumbai) in Jan 2011
Interview
- College contacted the company for campus recruitments & students in final year were asked to come to the head office for the interview process.
- then IQ test was taken, followed by 1:1 interview & group interview with the Head of marketing & Sales.
- Questions asked basically tested the knowledge and ability of the candidate to be able to convince your client & impromptu decision making skills were tested.

Question 1
Sell this bottle of mineral water to me. How much discount will you be able to give me if i buy 50 cartons & how much when i buy 100. Decide the cost or % discount you will allow depending on the size of the buyout?
Not a great interview experience. Most of the initial comms was through Whatsapp. After completing the first interview, I never heard back about the role. I believe if you do an interview you should at least get a call-back or an email explaining the reasoning behind the decision but from this company I received nothing.
