The interview experience was marked by several disappointments. I had initially completed two rounds, each lasting one hour, and was scheduled for another 45-minute round. However, during this final round, the interviewer was 5 minutes late to join the call. The interview, which was initially scheduled for 45 minutes, lasted only 25 minutes. To my dismay, the interviewer mentioned that they had not reviewed my resume. This lack of preparation was highly unprofessional on their part. What added to the frustration was the apparent lack of commitment to the interview process. If you've shared your calendar for scheduling an interview, it's reasonable to expect that you'll honor the allotted time. To make matters worse, during the last round, the interviewer changed the job requirements and job description, introducing new skills that had never been mentioned in the previous job description. I had invested over a month in the interview process, and this sudden shift was incredibly disappointing. While I understand that candidates can be rejected for legitimate reasons such as skills or cultural misalignment, the experience highlighted poor management within the company. It's essential for companies to maintain professionalism and consistency throughout the interview process, and these aspects were sorely lacking in this experience.
